Dr. Toney C. Parks has served as Sr. Pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church for the past 28 years. Being the Pastor of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church has been one of the greatest and rewarding challenges of his ministerial journey.

 

In addition to his church pastoral duties, Dr. Parks is very active in the community, currently serving as President of the South Carolina Congress of Christian Education and Moderator of the Enoree River Baptist Association. He is also a Distinguished  Professor of Biblical Counseling and Practical Ministry at Erskine Theological Seminary, the Chaplain of the Greenville City Police Department, and President and Co-founder of Family Outreach Community Services in Greenville South Carolina.

 

In addition to serving as a Marriage facilitator from the Christian Perspective, Dr. Parks is a State and National instructor on the subject of Church Leadership, Administration and Policy for the South Carolina Education and Missionary Convention as well as the National Baptists Convention of America, USA.

 

Dr. Parks is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, a Masters Divinity degree from Erskine College and Theological Seminary, and an earned Doctoral degree in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Brenda, have been together for over 39 years. They are the proud parents of two sons, Hamilton and Donovan.
